Customer service does not respond

Eurowings changed our flight so we will be able to catch the connecting flight (also Eurowings). We have contacted customer service to get the money back. We wrote the first time in July and several times after that! We still haven't heard anything back! This is so unacceptable! Give us our money back!

Really bad service

Really bad service, take 180 euros extra when you have more than 12 kg in your check in bags....will nerver fly with this crap again

Do not use this company

Boarded a flight from Duesseldorf to Edinburgh on 4-9-2022. After one hour sitting on the plane at the gate we were asked to leave and take our belongings with us. Shortly after an email informed us that the flight was now cancelled. We were directed to the helpdesk and waited in a long line for our turn. After one hour and approaching the desk the staff decided to close despite a large number of people still queueing. It was 10 pm and the airport was to close. We were abandoned to our fate. We had to return by train to Duesseldorf, book into a hotel, find an alternative flight with Ryanair from Weeze, which required a longer train/bus journey and a further booking of a hotel room. We caught the Ryanair flight to Edinburgh on 6-9-2022. We did not receive any help at all from Eurowings. We were totally shocked and traumatised by this bad experience. We will now have to fight for compensation which in the end will do little to make up for our sufferings. Eurowings should not be allowed to operate! We will never fly with this company again, neither will we use Duesseldorf Airport ever again. The whole lot are a shambles! Do not fly Eurowings! They don't deserve your custom. We give them zero points! Shame on you, Eurowings!

Rude and not well trained stuff in the checkin

I travelled from Dusseldorf to Kalamata with my family. The ticket status was BASIC and GROUP 1.
Based on my type ticket, I may board the aircraft carrying 2 pieces of hand baggage: one item of hand baggage weighing up to 8 kg with dimensions of 55 x 40 x 23 cm, and an additional small bag no larger than 40 x 30 x 25cm.
Nevertheless, the employee in the checkin desk, replied that I have to pay for the 8kg hand baggage because my status is basic. I tried to explain them the grouping scheme and show them, my boarding pass notes, but in a rude manner, replied to me that there is no meaning to check my boarding pass, because she has the whole picture in her PC. I asked politely to speak with her supervisor. The supervisor with no mood to communicate, she just replied that I have to pay. We had a 15 min discussion and she concluded that because my hand baggage is larger than 40 x 30 x 25, I must pay. After a 10 min discussion, she accepted that I could take on board my baggages based on my grouping scheme.
The bottom line is that despite the fact who is right or who is wrong, I strongly believe that the stuff should be polite and explain to the customers their procedure and on the other hand the stuff should be flexible enough to hear the opinion of the customer and to discuss with arguments.
As far as I am concerned, Eurowings is an airline with no respect for the customer. Either there is no Customer Service dept. or the head of the dept should re-educate their employees.

Shameful. Avoid unless you love inconvenience and paying for EVERY SINGLE EXTRA

Cannot upgrade unless you call up and accept paying a 10€ booking fee for something you could do yourself if the website/app was functional. Stealing money in a time where people are already struggling. Shameful and will avoid flying with them from now on. Even their customer service online didn’t understand how it worked. A joke tbh.

Ridiculous airlines

Ridiculous airlines. Paid for 3 carry on luggages (me and 2 children) and was denied to take 1 yo-yo buggy inside a bag and one luggage on an half empty plane! Only the guy inside the plane as everyone else says was fine. Avoid if travelling with children. Got to Heathrow with a sleeping crying child.. no yo-yo to be seen

Canceled flight 26 juni 2022 - do NOT travel with Eurowings

Our flight was canceled from Nice June 26, 2022 the same morning we were flying home. Not possible to contacted them either by phone or email (the website was "shut down") to rebook. We had to book a new flight with SAS the next day. This trip is so far very expensive!!! I have now contacted them via their website form 5 times (each time you get a new case number) to get our money back. Have also contacted the Lufthansa Group once so far. NO ONE has responded except by their automatically "Thank you for your email". I have always felt comfortable booking trips with Lufthansa because their flights leave in time etc. This is terribly embarrassing for Eurowings/Lufthansa!

I got stuck with my family and kids in…

I got stuck with my family and kids in Hamburg airport due to flight cancellation, got re-route via Stuttgart to Vienna, accepted the offer to go via Stuttgart, there also flight got delayed by 45 mins and missed the connecting flight at Stuttgart Airport, next available flight was next morning after 12 hours, but not arrangement for family stay overnight, lost my hotel room booking as no show, lost my car rentals booking as last minute cannot cancel, over all I lost 2000 EUR and 24 hours of our tour just because of One flight being cancelled, I have sent 3 emails but not response from customer service team.

Stay far far away from Eurowings

Stay far far away from Eurowings. Worst costumer service I’ve ever experienced. They kicked me and some other people of the flight because we didn’t have the correct face masks. I had face mask but it didn’t met the right standard they said. They didn’t want to help at all and they left us on the gate

Never fly with Eurowings! Total scam, deliberately mislead passengers to charge crazy amounts for carry on luggage. Paid 18€ for checked in bag and then
Got charged 100€ when boarding our transfer for 2 small carry on bags!!!!
